Issue 3 Editorial

Hello, I've worked a bit harder on this issue than the first two, and so have had to charge 20p for hard copies. I hope you enjoy reading the interviews, all the bands featured are brilliant and deserve much more recognition: The Samurai Seven are the new kings of punk-pop, Moreau's Island are quality songwriters, Seafood are amazing noise merchants, Kilter are a fantastic brooding rock band, Travis Cut play blistering punk and you won't have heard a band as delicately remorseful as Fourth Quartet. There's some reviews in here too, sorry there's not very many but I haven't been able to buy much lately.
I plan to expand Ashamed & Bored a bit further for the next issue, which should be out towards the end of the summer. I'm probably going to get a couple of co-writers to help me out with reviewing and suchlike so the opinions aren't all mine, and hopefully it will be a real big issue, the same sort of size that most zines are. Unfortunately that means the price will go up, but I promise I'll do my best to make it a good read!
Any bands that I have written about, feel free to quote me. Please email contributions, letters and stuff as well as details of any records, demos, fanzines, or flyers.
If there are any bands out there who are interested in doing an interview for Ashamed & Bored then get into contact with me at the same address.
Thanks again to the following for helping me out with the fanzine: Jess for assisting me generally, Dad for the photocopying, Heaven Sent Records for distributing the last two issues, Adrian Creek for a bit of publicity, all the bands interviewed, the fanzine editors who have given me help and advice, all the people who have written nice letters to me, and everybody who has read this or any of the last issues. Hope you enjoy it!
